The MAF conference (Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Actuarial Sciences and Finance) is an international gathering of mathematicians, statisticians and insurance and finance professionals. It takes place in April over three days, with sessions at the CRM and the UAB and an organising committee from the Universitat de Barcelona.
The programme brings together plenary talks by six invited speakers, parallel sessions of contributed papers, online sessions, a welcome reception at the CRM and a conference dinner in Barcelona. Accepted papers are published in a Springer volume.
Bellaterra Campus lies on the outskirts of Barcelona and, as the CRM itself points out, there is no direct public transport from Girona airport. From El Prat, the public option means combining the Aerobús with a train.
